Book Review /// Life-Changing Magic

Sunday, December 20, 2015
Another journal you may ask?
Ok, you probably didn't ask but yes I got another journal.
I'm addicted! I think it's important to document life.
Some do it via YouTube and some do it via paper writing. I do both.
This journal is a great one! The daily spaces aren't to large so you don't feel like you have to write a novel. Which is important.
It's not about the quantity it's about the quality.
I also live my life by quotes and this journal has amazing quotes all throughout.
I really like this one!

✌ Book Review /// (Un)Qualified

Monday, November 30, 2015
This will probably be the shortest review that I have ever done.
Oh! Don't worry!
It's not short because it was bad! The opposite actually!
I loved this book.
It really awsnered a question that I am always asking. Am I Qualified?
It is written very well and it's so easy to follow.
I really loved it. More people should read this book.

✌ Book Review /// I'm Happy For You (Sort of... Not Really)

Wednesday, November 18, 2015
I use to have a problem with comparing myself with other people. It caused me to be unhealthy mentally, emotionally, and physically. I was unhappy with my life.
Even though I am ten times better, I still enjoy reading self help books.
I'm Happy For You (Sort of... Not Really) is a great book!
It grabbed my attention and held it. I really love how Kay writes, it feels like she is in the room with me talking.
I really did enjoy this book!

✌ Let's Have A Chat /// Feminism

Monday, November 16, 2015
While I was doing my daily normal scroll through FaceBook I saw that BuzzFeed posted something about feminist. Of course I clicked on it, I am addicted to everything BuzzFeed. The post was
While I was reading it all I could think of was "WOW the people that said these things really don't know what's up"
I hate that people think feminist are out to get men. I REALLY hate that people think that we don't take care of our selves because it's "against the feminist code"
Stereotypes in are horrible, in any situation.
Don't lump people into categories. PERIOD.
Number 24 on list says something along the lines of feminist can't be stay at home parents.
WRONG!
We CAN be stay at home parents because we ARE feminists.
We don't have a rule book saying what we can and can not do. It doesn't work like that.
I would love to be a stay at home wife one day. I think it would be wonderful.
Just because I choose to stay home doesn't mean that I am the typical 50's house wife who belongs in the kitchen. No one has the right to tell you where you belong.
If I do become a stay at home wife, it's because I chose to be there, NOT because someone told me that I HAD to be there.
That's the difference.
Feminism is about equality of the sexes.
It's not believing that women are better than men. We are the same.
Therefore I will continue saying that I am a feminist on a daily basis.
Until something changes I think it's necessary to say it out loud.
When people hear you say that you are one, it sets up a line of communications. It lets you educate them on a topic that they might be foggy about.

Let's continue to break these stereotypes!

✌ Book Review /// You First

Wednesday, November 11, 2015
I normally don't care for Lea Michele, don't kill me!
I never really liked her characters that she has played, but I really love her writing.
I love the idea of having a journal, but I never seem to be able to keep one going.
I struggle with commitment issues which ranges from relationships to the tiny things like watching a tv show from week to week.
I love the topics in this journal based book!
Lea really out did herself!
MORE!

✌ Book Review /// Why Not Me

Monday, November 2, 2015
Mindy Kaling is one funny individual. I love her atmosphere, and the way she carries herself.
She's definitely not afraid to be her.
She fights for what's right and she doesn't let people tell her no.

Mindy is definitely one of my role models.

This book is phenomenal! very well written.
I NEED more books by her!
